Real Estate Appraiser Application Deadline & Examination Dates
Applicants to apply to PVL after passing the examination.
Electronic testing provided year-round throughout the U.S. The test center in Hawaii is on Oahu. For more information, visit www.pearsonvue.com or call 1-800-274-7488.
To allow sufficient time for review, the application, fee, and all supporting documents must be received one month prior to a scheduled meeting date. Advisory Committee meetings are usually scheduled to meet on the first Wednesday of each even-numbered month. Applications received after the filling deadline will be reviewed at the next scheduled meeting.

Notice : To renew your license for the January 2026 – December 2027 period, you are required to submit an original certificate of completion of a National USPAP seven-hour update course which you successfully completed in 2024 or 2025.
All Licenses regardless of issuance date, are subject to renewal by December 31 of every odd-numbered year.

Restoration Information
(Restore within 2 years after license expiration)
Forfeited licenses may be restored within 2 years and subject to meeting restoration requirements (Must restore by hardcopy only).
Failure to restore a forfeited license within 2 years after the license expiration date will result in the termination of the license and the person must apply as a new applicant and meet current licensing requirements.
