About the(BAC)

The Business Action Center (BAC) offers general assistance to businesses applying for state business registrations, and information on employer registrations and taxpayer IDs.

The Business Registration Division (BREG) is a division of the State of Hawaii, Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs. The division is responsible for handling state business registrations and overseeing the securities industry and franchises in the state.

The division is supported by Administrative and Office Services sections.

Contact Information for the Business Action Center (Oahu and Maui)

Filings via email, mail, and fax will be accepted, however, processing times may be delayed when filed through these methods.

Email document filings to breg-doci-filing@dcca.hawaii.gov. Please include a brief memo containing your contact information and an email address with your filing. Approved and returned documents will be sent via email.

The Maui Business Action Center will mirror Oahu operations as outlined above. In-person services will be available from 7:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday, except state holidays.
