State Regulatory

Regulated Industries Complaints Office (RICO)

RICO is a licensure-enforcement agency that reviews complaints against specialized industry service-providers who hold licenses from a professional or vocational licensing board. RICO can file administrative actions against misbehaving licensees, and, sue those who provide industry services without having a board-issued license. Education, self-informed consumers, and good evidence are relied upon by RICO to uphold the standards that are embodied in the licensing laws.
